Finnish company Jydacom provides IT systems for medium-sized construction firms. These systems run securely and reliably in Enfo’s data centre, meeting the needs of end users.
Jydacom has around 400 customers in the construction industry, and about half of Finland’s 100 largest construction companies use Jydacom’s system. The customers rely on these systems to manage their business operations – from cost estimation and production to financial management and payroll.

Our systems are business-critical for our customers, so their reliability and availability are essential. Their functionality is vital – to exaggerate only slightly, Finland’s construction industry would grind to a halt without them. Enfo has ensured both the reliability and availability of our services.

Services designed to meet end-user requirements
The partnership between Jydacom and Enfo began in 2006. It includes server capacity, network and cybersecurity services, as well as licence provision and management. Over the years, Jydacom’s environment has evolved and developed – and Enfo has kept pace with the company’s needs and requirements.
“Our services have thousands of daily end users, many of whom work on construction sites. The basic requirements are reliability, availability, and compliance with specific legal obligations – and we’ve been able to meet these needs. New demands are also emerging: for example, we’re now building two-factor authentication for customers who require it in their operations,” says Sirkka Kakko, Account Manager at Enfo.
The war in Ukraine has also highlighted the growing importance of cybersecurity services for Jydacom. “Enfo is a reliable Finnish partner with an excellent level of cybersecurity. It’s reassuring to know that our customers’ data is safe and secure with Enfo,” Mäkimattila notes.
Human-to-human service matters
Jydacom and its customers are mid-sized businesses, which plays a role in choosing the right partner. According to Mäkimattila, it’s essential that a service provider can cater to the needs of medium-sized organisations.
“Some service providers have built their operating models around very large clients, which doesn’t make them agile enough for mid-sized ones. Enfo, on the other hand, has been able to serve us in a flexible and suitable way. Our cooperation runs smoothly: we hold regular review meetings, and our technical teams are in contact almost daily,” Mäkimattila explains.
The services Enfo provides represent a major investment for Jydacom, and are therefore put out to tender every few years. Enfo has consistently remained competitive in terms of service offering, pricing and general operations.
“With Enfo, we get genuine human-to-human service rather than having to manage everything through a web portal. Depending on the matter, it’s important that we can call the right person directly – not just send an email or ticket into a black hole. The quality and concept of service are crucial to us,” Mäkimattila says.
Promises must be kept every day
Jydacom aims to continue its steady growth. As the company grows and technology advances, hardware, servers and operating systems are continuously renewed. Working with a familiar and trusted partner makes this development smoother and easier.
“Of course, promises must be kept every day, and our partner must remain competitive in the future as well. That’s how we can continue to serve construction companies competitively ourselves. We hope that our cooperation with Enfo will expand and continue for many years to come,” Mäkimattila concludes.
